In a career of over three decades, Mr. Mitesh Desai brings substantial experience to his current role as a COO at Gigflex. Apart from spearheading major aspects like executive management, enterprise software development and business strategy, he sets an exemplary precedence with regards to company’s product and technology initiatives. Additionally, he ensures seamless delivery of services by overseeing daily operations, customer engagement, and deployment planning.
Before Gigflex, Mr. Desai was the Founder and COO of WorkFlex Solutions, where he showed a laudable approach in transforming contact center workforce management through Intelligent Intraday Workforce Automation. Under his leadership, WorkFlex was established as an industry leader, which later culminated into its acquisition by a prominent global player in customer relationship management, NICE Ltd.
Having held several senior leadership positions in top technology companies, Mr. Desai played a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation across varied sectors. This is attributable to his role at MetaSolv, where he led the Global Channels team. Here he rendered his expertise by broadening the company’s reach through strategic partnerships prior to its acquisition by Oracle.
Mr. Desai’s stance as the head of the Global Telecom Solutions Group’s at Compaq was instrumental in carving out telecommunication strategy, wherein he was managing worldwide marketing efforts and developing integrated solutions for service providers. His tenure continued until Compaq’s acquisition by Hewlett-Packard.
In the initial years of his career, Mr. Desai’s 15 years at Nortel Networks yielded him roles consisting of product development and corporate strategy expertise. Also, he further gauged international experience by steering business expansion across Europe and Asia. Moreover, his professional backdrop is strengthened by his significant contributions to Siemens Communications, where he directed development teams in communication systems design.
Mr. Desai holds an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Systems Engineering, complementing his extensive industry experience with a strong educational foundation.
